This high chair is a private commission to solve a specific need: a high and safe chair for a 2-year-old child who will eat at a 90 cm high bar, so the seat must be 70 cm from the floor, something unusual in this type of furniture.

We proposed a reticular structure strongly inspired by Donald Judd's furniture. We sought a structure with a strong structural character that guarantees safety in use and has a unique image. For us, the presence of objects in space when not in use is important, and with this structure, we achieve a beautiful and balanced construction.

The structure widens at the bottom to prevent tipping, it has armrests, a footrest, a concave backrest, and the edges of the front slat where the legs rest are rounded to ensure comfort.
We use solid ash and vegetable-tanned hazelnut leather, one of our favorite combinations. The joints between the different pieces are butt joints with internal dowels that guarantee solid and durable connections.
In addition, the chair must meet another requirement: it must be usable for several years, so it must be possible to remove the safety elements to adapt the chair for an older child.
