Designing headboards is one of the compositional works we like to do the most. In this case Lucía asked us for a headboard made up of triangles that would be high enough to support her back while reading in bed.
At the time, we had a sapelli beam in the workshop that a friend had given us as a gift from an old bed. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to recycle this material that was in perfect condition, giving it life in a new bedroom.
We sectioned this material, transforming it into a multitude of triangles that we combined with others from a top quality Chilean pine ribbon.
we drew Lots of tests and finally we decided on this composition in which the small triangles delimit other geometric figures of larger dimensions.
