Yesterday was a very, very special day, one of those you don't forget. We introduced you to the PICCOLO BAG in collaboration with LA CASITA DE WENDY , a true benchmark for us.

I discovered La Casita de Wendy many years ago, when I was studying Architecture in Madrid. I perfectly remember the first time I stumbled upon her colorful dresses and hand-embroidered sweaters in exquisite color palettes, in a store in Malasaña. It was a revelation for us, because it was proof that things can be done differently: more carefully, slowly, paying attention to details and transmitting a unique universe, with identity.
It's a dream to be able to show you this collaboration that we have designed together for more than a year: taking care of every detail, mixing the essence of both brands and researching a new material , because also... it's our first VEGAN bag.
We have been searching for years for such a material, completely vegan and completely sustainable. It is a fruit leather! made from surplus persimmon harvests and also made close by, in Valencia.
We wanted these bags, which are a very limited edition, to convey with their details and materials a piece of La Casita de Wendy and Taller Piccolo at the same time, which is why their interior is lined with gingham checks and they have our classic wooden details.
It has been months of joint and remote design, through a thousand messages. Months of looking for samples to expressly create these colors for us, of choosing fabrics, threads. Months of prototyping and prototyping to perfect the shape until we found a balanced and functional design.

I was happy when I managed to buy my first La Casita de Wendy dress and even happier when I saw Inés use one of our bags, imagine how happy this collaboration makes us now! We hope you like it as much as we enjoyed designing it!
We leave you here the link to their online store where you can get one of them:
